The basics
Palabra is a browser extension that helps you learn vocabulary while browsing the web. You select words, we translate them, and then help you remember them through spaced repetition.
To use Palabra, you need to be at least 13 years old and have a valid email address. That's it.
Your stuff
The words you save, the sentences you write, your learning progress — that's all yours. We store it so you can access it across devices, but you own it. You can ask us to export or delete it anytime.
Our stuff
The Palabra app, design, and code belong to us. Please don't copy, reverse engineer, or try to extract our source code. Use the extension for learning languages, not for building a competing product.
Fair use
We want everyone to have a good experience, so please don't abuse the service. This means no automated scraping, no sharing accounts, and no using Palabra in ways that could harm other users or our systems.
If we notice misuse, we may need to limit or close your account. We'll try to reach out first, but we reserve the right to act quickly if needed.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Palabra running smoothly, but we can't promise 100% uptime. Sometimes things break. Sometimes we need to make changes. We'll do our best to minimize disruptions and keep you informed.
Palabra is provided "as is" — we're not liable for any losses that might result from using (or not being able to use) the service.
Changes
We might update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Palabra after changes means you accept them.
